the pamcam families – amani’s 2nd bday
we always expect magic from full-of-amazing-ideas and burgeouning-with-style nadia…
amani’s first bday was a production! so when the second one rolled by, she decided to tone things down a bit… yes people, this is nadia’s version of toned down 🙂
the theme was “amani is sugar and spice and twice as nice”…
it provided complete sensory overload not just for the kids, but also for this photographer, who wanted to take home all the lollipops 🙂
look out for the photo sequence where amani secretly eats the stars off the cupcakes – my favourite moment of the day.
seriousy though, nadia is such a wonderfully committed mom to her beautiful daughter amani (they do everything together) and even though she’s a fashionista through and through, i’ve seen her detach value to everything else and allow amani to to take priority in their lives – it is beautiful thing to watch…
… and she still manages to look fabulous through it all (i think i should come for lessons).
aadil, the stable rock, is a kind, caring, amazing dad.
how lucky is this little kid to have these too?
that deserves a celebration.
ample sweet, but the spice part was wonderfully prepared snacks and curries by nadia’s and aadil’s families… delicious!
amani is introduced to “the table” 🙂
amani stealthily sneaks off the star decorations off the cupcakes, eats them and then courteously puts the sticks back in.
mom, of course, is oblivious to this as she chats to guests…
later, when amani blew out the candles on her cake (the star shaped candles) i was the only one who understood why she immediately tried to eat them 🙂
